Our cherished wife and mother, Arloa, passed away peacefully. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 65 years, Peter Faryna; her daughter Monnie (David) Anderson; her sons: Allan (Sheila), Craig (Karin) and Wade (Evelyn); grandchildren: Jason and Meghan Anderson and Kyle Faryna; step-grandchild Amy (Warren) Kraft; great-grandchild Trey Marquis; step-great-grandchild Andrew (Brianna) Coppin; and step-great-great-grandchild Tyson Grandy. Arloa is also survived by her sister in-law Ida Quennell and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Rene and Allan; sister Grace; and brothers Leonard and Howard.
Arloa was the family’s strength, the strong spirit who loved her family and friends. She was never afraid to speak her mind.
A Celebration of Arloa’s Life will take place in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home (1605 - 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. There will be a reception at Valley Ridge Lodge in the Capri Lounge (1479 Valley Ridge Drive NW, Calgary) from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
