Bonita Lynn Hamilton
August 21, 1973 - December 8, 2015
Bonita Hamilton, beloved wife of Robert Hamilton of Langdon and loving mother of Brooklyn Grace, passed away unexpectedly on December 8, 2015 at the age of 42 years. Bonita will also be sadly missed by her mother Clarice Gobeil of Saskatoon, SK and her brothers: Daniel Gobeil of Warman, SK and Justin Gobeil of Calgary. She was predeceased by her father Denis Gobeil.
Bonita was born in Saskatoon and attended the University of Regina. Shortly after graduating, she was hired by Fluor Canada where she made a career as a software trainer. Bonita had a heart of gold and contributed much of her time to charities and social organizations within Fluor. She married Rob in August 2010 and gave birth to her daughter Brooklyn on January 12, 2012. Brooklyn became Bonita’s number one priority, yet she still continued to donate her time and abilities. She recently became involved in the parent committee at Brooklyn’s preschool. Bonita was a planner and an organizer and loved to arrange functions. She had the most beautiful smile and a radiance about her that you could feel. Bonita was loved by everyone whose life she touched and will be sorely missed.
A Celebration of Bonita’s Life will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home (1605 - 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow at Fluor, Main Building, 55 Sunpark Plaza SE. at 4:00 p.m.
