Daniela Giuseppina Vella

We announce with broken hearts, the passing of Daniela Vella, devoted mother to Lucia Valentina Vella. She will be lovingly remembered by her parents who cherished her, Gaetano and Lucia Vella. Her sisters who looked up to her, Dina Vella, Maria (Salvatore Agricola) and Mirella (Joshua Sundberg), along with her nieces who adored her, Melania, Ambra and Bianca Agricola and, Mattea (and Baby) Sundberg.
She was deeply loved by her aunts, uncles and cousins in the Ferrara family, D’abbene family and the Vella Family. She will also be lovingly remembered by her extended family in Canada, the U.S and Italy.
Daniela’s daughter, Lucia Valentina, was the love of her life. She brought her so much joy and she was fiercely protective of her. She was not judgemental of others and had numerous friends from all walks of life. Daniela was loving and supportive to her family and friends and wouldn’t hesitate to offer a helping hand if someone she knew needed it. She was always concerned about others, even when she herself was suffering and in pain.
Daniela was a woman of faith, who believed in the love of Jesus Christ and God, The Creator. She had a spiritual connection with First Nations Culture and loved everything about it.
Her favorite holiday was Christmas, the day her beautiful daughter was born. She loved Christmas so much that members of her family started calling her “Daniela Claus” because she was so generous with absolutely everybody!
Daniela was a champion for the Society of St Vincent de Paul at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, particularly around the Christmas season. She collected empty boxes from the hospital to use for the hampers, organized the referrals and purchased gifts on her own for the children of families in need… caring enough to take the time to write each family a Christmas card and wrap each gift individually. This is who she was…beautiful and selfless and we will always love her with all of our hearts.
