<div itemprop="description"><br />Bella Iversen, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and GG passed away peacefully on August 23, 2013. <br /> <br />Bella was born in Calgary on January 15, 1935 to Kaj and Kirstine Larsen. Bella was raised in the Makepeace area of Alberta. She married Paul on November 13, 1953 and they resided in Calgary the rest of their lives. She was a busy homemaker raising seven children. <br /> <br />Bella was predeceased by her husband Paul, in 2008; brother Kai, sisters Ellen, Ejla and Bitten, and son-in-law Bob Ross. <br /> <br />Bella is survived by her four sons: Axsel (Sharon), Niels (Linda), Ken (Moira) and Bruce (Brenda); three daughters: Anne (Matt) Hornberger, Karen (Don) Hight and Judy; fifteen grandchildren: Craig (Brittany), Holly, Melanie (Scott), Paul, Andrea (Dan), Carla, Jeffrey (Tracy), Curtis (Kristi), Corrine (Fraser), Elysia, Kyle, Daniel, Jennifer, Colleen, and Brett; ten great grandchildren: Aleaha, Ben, Sam, Olivia, Thomas, Kai, Beck, Ellie, Ashton, and Payton; as well as three brothers: Niels (Barb), Bob (Joan), Bill; brother-in-law Gordon, sister-in-law Margaret, and all her nieces and nephews in Canada and Denmark. <br /> <br />Bella and Paul moved to Dana Village in 1996 and they enjoyed many years there. She spent her last years at Whitehorn Village. Her family was her life and she will be missed by all. <br /> <br />A Celebration of Bella&rsquo;s life will be held at the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association (#204, 2323 - 32 Avenue NE, Calgary, AB T2E 6Z3). <br /> <br />To express condolences please visit www.mountainviewmemorial.ca. <br /> <br />Arrangements entrusted to Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home, Reception Centre &amp; Crematorium, 1605 - 100 Street SE (GPS: 242013 - 100 Street SE), Calgary, AB (403) 272- 5555.</div>
