<div itemprop="description">BENNETT, James Michael Bryan <br>February 10, 1982 ~ December 12, 2016 <br> <br>Liuna Construction & General Workers Union Local No.92 <br>(Pipeliner) <br> <br>James (Jamie) Michael Bryan Bennett of Red Deer passed away on December 12, 2016 at the age of 34 years. <br> <br>He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Janet Bennett of London Ontario and his father, Robert (Deb) Bennett of Calgary Alberta , his daughter, Hailee Turney-Bennett-LaPorte, siblings, Patrick and Katie, step-sister, Stacy Young, nephew Jordan and niece Elara . He is survived by step father Dave McLeish, aunts, Joyce of London, ON and Alice of Kingston, ON many cousins as well as many, many friends. <br> <br>He was predeceased by his grandparents Jack and Helen Johnstone, and Aylmer and Ethel Bennett, Aunt Judy Rusbridge and Uncle John Johnstone. <br> <br>Jamie was born in London the same day the Federal Government gave the doctors the right to rotating strike for higher wages. We were in London for the first 10 years of Jamie’s life when we moved to St Mary’s. Jamie attended Plover Mills PS and St Mary’s DCVI. Jamie worked in London then travelled first to Saskatchewan joined the Labourers Union the transferred and moved to Alberta. Jamie’s outstanding personality, sense of humor, laughter have drawn people to him since he was a child. He has made numerous friends everywhere he went and everyone has a story to tell of outrageous moments they have as does his family. Jamie you will always be a shining star to everyone you met, the life of the party and the instigator of most pranks. Everyone will miss those crazy phone calls usually beginning with you laughing. To know you is to love you. The kind, caring and compassion side of Jamie was known to many people if he had it whatever was and you needed something it was yours for the taking. Jamie has touched everyone he knew his memory will live on with all of us. <br> <br>Rest peacefully my son, I luv you my baby bear. <br> <br>His Father's pride and joy. Loud, proud and strong. <br> <br>Jamie&nbsp;Loved to be a Pipeliner!&nbsp; <br> <br>Forever in our hearts! <br> <br>For those wishing to pay their respect you may do so on Tuesday December 27, 2016 from 12:00—1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Jamie will be held in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home (1997 Dundas Street East London, ON) on December 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.<br><br></div>
