Jason Douglas Homan
November 5, 1975 - June 7, 2016
Jason Douglas Homan passed away suddenly at the age of 40 on June 7th, 2016.
He was the beloved husband of Candace Homan of Red Deer, AB; beloved son of Daryl and Diane Homan of Sidney, BC; and beloved brother of Rae-Lynn (Mike) Peariso.
Jason was the loving father of Russell, Mikayla, and Rebecca Homan of Killam, AB. He was also a loving stepfather to Candace’s children Aric and Jasmyn as well as stepfather to Jocelynn Ross-Wilke as she was growing up.
Jason was a caring uncle to Jordan, Brooklyn, and Sidney Peariso of Calgary, AB.
He will be lovingly remembered by his grandparents Jean and Frank Hallas of Calgary, AB and Millie Homan of Red Deer, AB; and his aunt and uncle Dave and Tina Hallas of Calgary, AB; and Jason’s many aunts, uncles, and cousins on Daryl’s side of the family; as well as his in-laws Gary and Nettie Penner of Lloydminster, AB and their family.
Jason was born in Settler, Alberta on November 5th, 1975 and grew up in Calgary and Chestermere. He graduated from Augustana University College in Camrose, AB. He moved to Red Deer in 2012 and soon married Candace in 2013.
Jason was very loving, caring, and had a wonderful sense of humour. Jason had a passion for singing and playing guitar. He has touched us all with his beautiful music.
A Celebration of Jason’s Life will be held in the Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home (1605 100 Street S.E. Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
