Margaret Weitz
June 5, 1926 - May 12, 2016
Mrs. Margaret Weitz passed away in Red Deer, AB on May 12, 2016 at the age of 89 years.
Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her children: Dennis of Calgary, Linda of Red Deer, Gordon (Pearl) of Carstairs, Mervin (Uyen) of Calgary, Donna (Brian) of Red Deer, Perry (Laurie) of Red Deer, and Cindy (Dean) of Carstairs; her brother Henry (Elaine) Podmoroff, brother-in-law Roy Weitz, nineteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers Alex and George, and her husband Reuben.
Margaret was born in Saskatchewan on June 5, 1926. She married Reuben on June 25, 1946 and settled on the farm where they raised their seven children. Margaret loved living on the farm, gardening and cooking. On September 4, 2013, she entered a long-term care facility. Margaret was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Calgary. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
