<div itemprop="description">Marlene Ethel Nelson passed away at Sunrise Village in High River, AB on December 19, 2016 at the age of 83 years. <br><br>She was the loving mother of Brenda Mathison of Calgary, AB, Janet O’Farrell of Calgary, AB and Don Nelson (Lee Anne) of Crossfield, AB. She will also be dearly missed by her six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Marlene will also be lovingly remembered by her brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends. <br><br>Marlene was predeceased by her beloved husband, Melvin. <br><br>In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Marlene’s name to the Alzheimer’s Society of Calgary 800, 7015 MacLeod Trail SW, Calgary, AB T2H 2K6 or at www.alzheimercalgary.ca. <br><br>A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home (1605 100 Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. <br><br>To express condolences, please visit www.mountainviewmemorial.ca<br><br><br></div>
