May Grinwich (Hughson)
March 22, 1921 - March 3, 2017
May Winnifred Grinwich (nee Loney) passed away at Clifton Manor on March 3, 2017 at the age of 95 years.
May will be lovingly remembered by her son Barry (Mary Ann) Hughson and her son-in-law Gerry Kultgen, both of Calgary; her grandchildren: Clayton, Tracy, Kelly, Stacey, Kenneth and Brad; and by her great grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her brother Melvin (Sofia) Campbell as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. May was predeceased by her husband Kenneth in 1963 and her daughter Shirley in 2006.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home (1605 - 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
Because May always had a soft spot in her heart for animals, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made directly to the Calgary Humane Society, 4455 - 110 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB T2C 2T7 (www.calgary humane.ca).
