Nicole Ashley Harding
July 5, 1983 – Kelowna, British Columbia
March 7, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta
Nicole Harding passed away suddenly on March 7, 2016 at the young age of 32 years. Nicole was born in Kelowna, British Columbia on July 5, 1983, the youngest of four children of Carole and Frank Harding. Nicole spent her early years in Kelowna where she attended Quigley Elementary School. Nicole and our family moved to Calgary in 1995.
Nicole was a very smart, articulate, and adventurous individual. Nicole had a passion for reading many types of books from spiritual (Dalai Lama) to travel.
The passion for travel came at a young age. Nicole spent the summers with her predeceased grandparents Maurice and Eunice Noel, traveling across British Columbia, spending time camping and seeing the beautiful British Columbia landscape. This passion for traveling grew stronger as Nicole got older.
In November, 2010, Nicole and Spencer Jack left Canada to go on an adventure of a life time. They traveled to Australia where Nicole spent four years of her life (2010 – 2014). In Australia, Nicole had many different experiences such as farm work and camping in the desert. Nicole returned to Calgary, Alberta in 2014 where she spent the remainder of her short life.
Nicole is survived by her parents Carole and Frank Harding, sisters Mary Lawrie and Stacie Stanich, brother Kevin Harding, and five niece’s Megan and Emily Lawrie, Tyra and Peighton Stanich, Kaleah Harding. Plus many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Nicole was predeceased by her grandparents Marjorie Harding, Bill Harding, Maurice and Eunice Noel.
Our family would like to extend an invite to all family, friends and love ones to help commemorate Nicole's life and journey!
