<div itemprop="description">Orest Isadore Balla <br />1947 - 2014 <br /> <br />Orest was born April 10, 1947 in Bonnyville, Alberta. He passed away February 12, 2014 in Calgary, Alberta. <br /> <br />Orest is survived by Barbara, his wife of forty-four years; daughter Tammy Wysiecki; sons, Tony (Shelley), Ashley (Brenda) and Randy (Jill Purvis); grandchildren: Stephen Balla, Jared Wysiecki and Emily Wysiecki, Cory and Hayley, Dylan, Melissa, Tylor, Braden, Jeremy and Jayden; sister Pauline Panas; brothers, Tom (Sylvia), Andy (Helen), Victor (Treva), Ben (Cecile), Lawrence (Lynne) and Howard (Joyce). <br /> <br />He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Ruth Balla and Suzanne Balla of Calgary and Gloria Balla of Mundare, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. <br /> <br />Orest was predeceased by his mother Clara and father Harry; granddaughter Jordon; and brothers, Mike, David and Rudolph. <br /> <br />Memorial tributes in memory of Orest may be made directly to Calgary Palliative Care (4th Floor, 1213 - 4 Street SW, Calgary, AB T2R 0X7). <br /> <br />A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Rocky View Garden of Peace Chapel, (243208 Garden Road NE [16th Avenue NE and 100 Street], Calgary, AB T1X 1G2).
