Ruth Katherine Kilbach
October 18, 1926 - October 7, 2016
Ruth Katherine Kilbach, beloved wife of the late Roy Peter Kilbach, passed away at McKenzie Town Care Center on October 7th, 2016 at the age of 89 years.
Ruth was born on October 18th, 1926 near Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan.
She was the loving mother of Robert (Mary) Kilbach of Calgary and Henry (Inga) Kilbach of Edmonton. Ruth will be dearly missed by her five grandchildren; Doug (Jennifer), Sharon (Jeff), Marlene (Brian), Cheryl (Steve) and Michael (Amy), as well as her eleven great grandchildren; Hope, Jaidan, Mathew, Jayson, Kayla, Braden, Justin, Emily, Cameron, Brittney and Anna. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Ortis Dodd of Calgary.
Ruth was predeceased by her husband Roy Kilbach, her brothers Elmer, Walter, Henry and Ben Schmidt as well as her sister Mary Glass.
Memorial donations can be sent to St. John’s Lutheran Church at 204 - 6A Street NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 4A5.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 204-6A Street NE, Calgary, AB on October 18, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 10 am. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Gardens (1515-100 Street NE, Calgary, AB.) A reception will follow.
