<div itemprop="description">Arnold (Rocky) Keith Walters, beloved husband of Mrs. Audrey Walters of Strathmore, Alberta passed away at the Salvation Army Agape Hospice on Saturday, May 27, 2017at the age of 83 years.<br><br>Arnold was born in Lanark Ontario, where he grew up as a young man. He was an avid outdoorsman as well he played hockey and baseball. He joined the RCAF in 1953 and was a Fire Rescue / Specialist. He continued his interest in sports and played both Hockey and Baseball for RCAF teams . He was injured and was unable to continue his RCAF and sports careers. After his RCAF career he had several careers. His interests included sports, music and camping. During his RCAF career he was stationed near where the Avro Aero aircraft was tested. He had a special interest in the Avro Aero which included a collection of several books and models. <br><br>He was the loving father of Keith Walters (Deardre) of Bon Accord, AB, daughter Lindsay Walters of Calgary, stepson Tom Frosst (Dianne) of Strathmore., stepson Edmund Frosst (Anita) of Strathmore, stepson Michael Frosst (Karen) of Calgary, stepdaughter Doreen Tompkins (Pat) of Slave Lake, AB. He will also be dearly missed by his fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. He will also be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews in the Calgary area and several nieces and nephews in Ontario, and sister Lilian Laroque in Ontario. He was predeceased by his wife Isabella in 1995 and brothers and sisters in Ontario. A special thanks to Barbara Walters for her love and support during her Uncle’s journey. Funeral Service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home (1605—100 Street SE, Calgary) on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to The Salvation Army Agape Hospice or the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.
