<div itemprop="description">Helen Pannenbecker, of Calgary passed away at South Health Campus on April 7, 2017 at the age of 92 years. <br> <br>She was the loving mother of Dolly Cox, Edie Abramenko, Sherry Stallman, Rose Woykin (Bill), Bernie Janner (Gunter) and John Pannenbecker (Helen). And will also be dearly missed by her numerous grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered by her friend Garry and numerous friends and neighbors. <br> <br>She was predeceased by her husband George Pannenbecker, an infant daughter Donna Marie and her daughter Georgina Trask. <br> <br>Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Helen served in the British Forces in London. She met her husband George in the small English town of Brookwood that housed the Canadian troops. She moved to Forest Lawn in 1946 and resided there until 2012. Her and George raised their seven children in a one bedroom house that they built themselves after the war. She was a fierce and determined woman who inspired the same in those around her in life and in cards. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Helen’s name to 119 14 St NW #200, Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6 or www.heartandstroke.ca/get-involved/donate. <br> <br>Those wishing to pay their respects may do so from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 with a Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home (1605 - 100 Street SE, Calgary, AB) at 10:00 a.m. <br> <br>To express condolences, please visit www.mountainviewmemorial.ca <br> <br></div>
