Margaret Keener
April 5, 1925 - February 22, 2017
Margaret Dorothy Keener (nee Erickson) passed away at the Bow View Manor on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the age of 91 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Karen Grace Read (Burt); sons, John Derek Keener (Penny) and Timothy Edward Keener (Kristin); five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Margaret was born on April 5, 1925 in Travers, Alberta and married John Joseph Keener on June 1, 1946. She spent the following six decades devoted to her children and extended family, touching many lives as a caregiver and friend. Her humour and good nature will be dearly missed by all.
Margaret was predeceased by her son, Gordon Rodney; husband, John; mother, Lenona Jensen (Otto); and sister, Verna.
Thank you to the staff at Bow View Manor who gave her exceptional care and support in her last months.
A private service will be held for family.
