Mary Lydia Elliot
July 12, 1926 - August 12, 2016
Mary Elliot (nee Lehto), beloved wife of Walter, passed away at Calgary, Alberta on August 12, 2016 at the age of 90 years.
Mary was the loving mother of Wendy Elliot and Judy (John) Fry. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren Cory (Sarah) Gapka, Gillian (Jeremy) Mackay, Lauren Fry (Clint Cook), Tyler Fry, Jennifer Fry and great grandchildren Violet and Olivia Gapka. Mary was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.
Mary was involved with many organizations including the Scandinavian Centre, Second Sixties Outdoor Club and the Renfrew Fifty Plus Club but her special passion was Renfrew United Church. Mary also enjoyed bowling, curling and camping.
Special thanks to the Brooks Health Centre and the Peter Lougheed Centre for their caring and compassion.
A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held at Renfrew United Church (956 Radnor Avenue NE, Calgary T2E 5H5) on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
