Betty Lou Hill
December 27, 1935 - February 25, 2017
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our mother Betty Lou Hill (nee Spilde) on February 25, 2017 age 81 years in Calgary; a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.
Betty is survived by her children: Doug (Jackie) Hill, Pat (Merv) Godfrey, Darcy (Penny) Hill, Dwayne (Marnie) Hill, and Cathi (Scott) McCann; four grandchildren: Amanda, Megan, Ethan, and Erick; and four step-grandchildren: James, Whitney, Jenna, and Jarrod. She is also survived by her sisters: Doris Cross and Vickey (Jim) Siler and her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Albert and Opal Spilde; brother Clifford; sister Elaine Shand; and brothers-in-law: Eddie Cross and David Shand.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calgary Health Trust in support of AHS-Calgary Palliative Care Program, #800, 11012 Macleod Trail SE, Calgary, AB T2J6A5.
A Celebration of Life will follow in May in Edmonton and July in B.C.
