<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our mother Betty Lou Hill (nee Spilde) on February 25, 2017 age 81 years in Calgary; a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed. <br> <br>Betty is survived by her children: Doug (Jackie) Hill, Pat (Merv) Godfrey, Darcy (Penny) Hill, Dwayne (Marnie) Hill, and Cathi (Scott) McCann; four grandchildren: Amanda, Megan, Ethan, and Erick; and four step-grandchildren: James, Whitney, Jenna, and Jarrod. She is also survived by her sisters: Doris Cross and Vickey (Jim) Siler and her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Albert and Opal Spilde; brother Clifford; sister Elaine Shand; and brothers-in-law: Eddie Cross and David Shand. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calgary Health Trust in support of AHS-Calgary Palliative Care Program, #800, 11012 Macleod Trail SE, Calgary, AB T2J6A5. <br> <br>A Celebration of Life will follow in May in Edmonton and July in B.C. <br> <br>To express condolences, please visit: www.mountainviewmemorial.ca. <br></div>
